About Allen Wynn
Allen has created art for over 25 years, first inspired and mentored by Clyde Connell. After watching her work with papier-mâché and metals in rural Louisiana, he launched a style that strives to capture life as he sees it.
Rawness is the key element of Allen’s creations. He constantly absorbs images, shapes, and colors, which he turns over and over in his mind until he begins his process. Nothing is perfectly shaped because he uses texture to make each work unique and slightly different from one another. Through the decades, he has enjoyed working with mixed media, including metal, wood, and fiberglass. Today, he is best known as a noted contemporary bronze sculptor.
Allen produces new collections seasonally. He is pleased to accept commissions and aims to incorporate his patrons’ ideas into their pieces to connect them to not only their present vision but their past as well. Learn more about Allen and his work by reading his artist statement.
